"After The Toothbrush"
Well, I dreamed I saw the frightful tartar clumping,
Made it funky around my teeth.
There were fillings stingin' and gum lines plumpin',
Some harder bits beneath.
There were some tan hairs growin' from the scum
That coated rotten cheese.
I saw many major mottled chunks in the nineteen cavities.
Shook by many major spots and junk in the nineteen cavities.
I was tired of the hurt and aching.
In a full room, people cried.
They were callin' for the next patient.
Fear of blunders skewed my stride.
There was a lamp blazin' overhead,
And the dentist said, "Oh my."
"Thinkin' some crowns," so the dentist said. He was hopin' I would comply.
Slinkin' about with my dental dread, I was hopin' I wouldn't die.
Well, I dreamed I felt the silver shaper pryin'
And a hellish taste I would gulp.
There were fillers dryin' and pullers plyin',
Haulin' out the swollen pulp.
Bawlin' a scream, bawlin' a scream, the probin' made me sulk.
They were pryin' bloody chamber drill debris from the tooth holes they had sculpt'd,
Dryin' gutta-percha filler squeezed through the root holes.
