Well, that was different. Someone's on a Neil Young role. Was having trouble with the pacing until I remembered my battle with Merry about Squir-rels/Squirls!
There's a half-tame squirrel around my yard..but I don't go near him..too quick and big-toothed, and don't care to contribute to his Fall storage
Porfle, you didn't get my goat with this parody- you got my squirrel!!! 555!!! I live near a park so since you can't touch anything it's like the friggin' Discovery Channel out here! I remember back in the 1970s being asked in class about if I was reincarnated what animal I would like to be. While the other boys said Lion, Tiger, Bear, etc... I said Honey Badger with Mongoose and Tazmanian Devil as back-ups. My teacher sent me for a psychological evaluation at a "special" class and this was just Grade School!!!
Thanks for the comments! I live in a park-like neighborhood so I'm surrounded by squirrels. As well as the occasional possum, raccoon, and rabbit. I actually have a pecan tree in my backyard but I gave it over to the squirrels a long time ago.
...and raiding my avocado tree.
