The Lyrics

This is my tribute to John Carpenter's "Big Trouble in Little China."

Lo Pan looks for a wife
Doesn't wish to woo her
Lo Pan looks for a wife
Like a fish to skewer

Lo Pan looks for a wife
Eyes of green and a face serene
Lives with three elemental guys
Who think up storms at you

Wang's bride better hide
Soon she'll be at Lo Pan's side
With the gods they'll both abide
Till the world is through

Lo Pan better run for your life
Cause I'm after you
I'm Jack Burton and I've got a kung fu crew
Ah, just give me a knife and a spell or two

Sewer siege, under the streets
Magic cup to power up
Doesn't take a sage to see
Your reign is almost through

Two girls, eyes of green
What a naughty boy you've been
Now you'll find a warmer scene
Where you're going to

Lo Pan better look for a wife
In the local zoo
I'm Jack Burton and I'm rollin' over you
Ah, just give me a Mack and a green light, too

Lo Pan looked for a wife
Couldn't hang onto her
Lo Pan looked for a wife
Now he's in the sewer

I can't believe you actually parodied that movie that came out in '86 IIRC!!! 555!!! I was eager to see it but my brother and our mutual friend hated it about as much as the latter "Escape from LA" :(

Oh s&*t, I just typed in the security code in place of my name. I reckon I do that sometimes, mmm hmmm! (why am I carrying on like Karl Childers ...)

Appreciate the comments! Peregrin and Rob--I recommend the movie as it's a whole lot of fun. It flopped at the B.O. because it was sorta ahead of its time but has become a big cult fave. Lennie--the more Neil Young, the merrier!
