Told her that her club sandwich was ready
and the rib plate order would be ready in a minute
She asked me if the chicken soup was nice
I said listen baby you really wouldn't wanna try it

For those of your who never worked in a kitchen the weel is where the waitresses hang their orders and the kitchen staff pick them up. Calling an order was simply yelling "order" so we'd know we had something to do. Don't mean for the song to sound sexist, but guys only worked the kitchen in this place and girls were exclusively waitresses or cashiers.
