"Right-Wing Missy"

Whoever thinks unlike me
I think this country’s bane
and so I say beginning
with statements semi-sane.
Then , like a rabid squirrel,
I find I’ve lost my grip
and soon I’m typing twaddle
from foaming fingertip.

Folks claim I dodge their queries
when my rants they take to task.
Untrue! I answer ev’rything
(except whatever’s asked).
I think because, Right-thinking,
my thinking must be right.
Alas, as I present it
my thinking’s merely slight.

I’m a right-wing missy,
the Libs I love to dis,
but zinged, get pissy
in self-pity’s abyss.

Why am I always picked on?
I don’t know!
I’m misunderstood.

In parodies I sacrifice
song sense to politics,
concentrate on rants I
always pre-and post-fix,
instead of finding clever ways
to let the words themselves
get across my message
to who for message delves.

I think folks
should love my parodies
despite that well-
made ones are rarities!

How I love to trash Obama,
Hillary still more!
Disparagement I dish out
but don’t say what I’m for,
just as is where I say
my adversaries stall.
I’m deaf, dumb, close-minded …
That’s fine ´cause I know all!
