Mind metamorphosis has mooring—
Think wrong did I back in that time.
Daubed on paint gobbets; he prayed in pain, “Stop it!”
Then got to work upon my mind.

I used to think his work was boring…
Things wrong I yelled; I was no mime.
Sure, I was pissy and went on a diss spree—
My epithets were worse than “slime.”

He got me drawing, painting, and more.
I’ll always thank him for what’s in store!

We’re getting married in the morning,
It’s on ’cause it was the right time
Got the banns published,
Next: party grub list.
Did the venue search; we’re not doing church
A civil ceremony suits us fine.
