This is a parody of mine that was published in my school's Literary Magazine 2010. It's similar to Bob Gomez's "Stupid Long Movie" except it's about music.
I'm on the phone with my boyfriend, he's upset

'Cuz he doesn't quite get Pink Floyd like I do
We're at my house it's a usual Friday night
No matter what, we always end up picking a fight
We might never find some music to chill to
He likes Yardbirds
I like Beatles
He more Moody Blues
I like the Eagles
I'm dreaming 'bout the day
We'll find songs we both like
Just like that pinball kid
Who is deaf, dumb, and blind

I'm back!!! Carly, another stellar parody from you! Yeah, I remembered that me and one of my boyfriends as well as my other friends have different tastes in music. I listen to XTC, Level 42, and other 80s music, although I also listen to modern music as well. Heck, I listen to all kinds of music. I got into classical and country when I was 12. But right now, I'm interested in World Cultural music such as Kratae, this Thailand pop star which I'll tell you about some other time. Anyways, here's 5's!
