This song is a tribute to the recently desceased original singer for Iron Butterfly, before Doug Ingle sang lead. Ingle only played organ at the time. Darryl DeLoach died from liver cancer on October 3, 2002.

Darrly was cool . He was from Clairemont. I didn't hear about his passing. His liver disease was painful for me to watch . I think your parody is unimaginative and sad . No doubt Darrly's varied sense of humor would somehow find it funny .
