"Moulty" Moulton: no left hand
Moulty -- famed drummer of SIxties "garage band" The Barbarians -- lost his left hand (to 3" up the wrist) when a homemade bomb exploded in his face at the age of 14. He used a hook for his hand and, with sticks that were notched, played perfectly. His autobiographical song, "Moulty!", inspired thousands of young lives -- even those who were once suicidal -- with its "never give up" theme.
