Story about this misheard lyric by: Steve Marshall My wife and I always liked this song, and we both were sure that it was about going to the Lake of Fear (I think there really is one somewhere). We were amazed when somebody told us a year ago that the lyrics were something else - we just didn't believe it at first, but now - after 30 years - we have accepted it. We still think that our version is better though! |
