Why They're Funny:

These lines could also go in the nonsensical section, since they don't seem to mean anything to the average listener (I mean, what the heck is "robarope"? did they make that up or something?)...but they also make me chuckle each time I hear them, due to the way they're sung. Is this supposed to be scat-singing? (By the way, the lines aren't in the original version, as performed by the Staples Singers.)
