This remake with Adam Sandler was rated 4 our of 10 by Rotten Tomatoes, but it is one of those guilty pleasures to me. The original is far better, but sometimes stupid-funny adaptations can be entertaining on their own with a different generation.

never seen either the original or Adam Sandler "Mr. Deeds" but am a fan of Sandler's movie "Click" oh sure it's got some stupid moments but some of the jokes are actually funny and the heartfelt/sad moments are beautifully done! anyway back to the parody at hand 5's
Thanks Jon! I think half of Sandler's movies are crap but the other ones are OK. Same for Ben Stiller and Will Ferrell...
