I pulled the "Whose thread is this anyway" routine with Rob years before and I could tell by his response that he was amused by it. And I have a habit of calling older people scamps, and most people are amused by it. I got it from the movie "Pulp Fiction" At one point Mia scolds Vince for repeating something "they" said about her with, "When you little scamps get together, you're worse than a sewing circle."

Hey Jon, unfortunately I haven't been able to watch all the installments on YouTube yet. I watch many 20 min short sci-fi vids and the Hitler Rants parodies. I also watch movies On-Demand off Xfinity. But I'll get to it :-)
Jonathan, it's not a sin to drink alcohol. Jesus drank wine and his first miracle was turning water into wine at the wedding. Jesus said he would have no new wine until heaven, so wine is there. It's only a sin to get drunk.
Jon, I stayed up and watched PATEOTN! It was much darker than the original and made Pinocchio seem disobedient far too much. The changes from boy to puppet and back seemed unreasonable and why was the Fairway Godmother blue? Gee Willikers was cute. And, of course, in the end we all knew Pinocchio would be with Twinkle. I give it ****
Where are people getting the notion that Jon thinks alchohol's a sin? He's not Muslim as far as I can tell. I personally love the movie! in large part, due to it's darkness. I think there should be more family movies like that, and less cookie-cutter, silly all the time, fart-joke laden, pop-culture joke laden CGI junk! of course, the animation of Disney's classic was miles better. but for me, it's hard to pick which movie I prefer as a whole. with the exception of the "Bugsburg" scene, "Pinocchio & Emperor" could very well be the better movie! and yeah, Pinocchio wasn't exactly the brightest bulb on the Christmas Tree in this movie. I believe TvTropes would call this incarnation of the character "Too Dumb To Live."

Jon, I buy used DVDs at Dimple. Don't know if you have those in your area. If not, can you order On-Demand? I have Xfinity cable, so never a problem. Movies are $2.99 rental for old titles. New are $4.99 or $6.99 In theaters (usually IFC and Sundance titles). If not, that Amazon listing is cheapest and will arrive in 4 business days.

Rob - I think it is the highest rated collaboration I've ever done. the ones I used to write with my brother, I don't believe ever went up to the double-digits. as for any parody I've ever posted, I think that honor goes to this parody I did of the "Speed Racer" theme: http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/dannydavisandthenashvillebrass3.shtml 35 5-votes! which is a little surprising, considering it's such a short, simple parody. but who's complaining?

Btw Jon, if you liked Filmation's PATEOTN, then you should like their 1970s live-action Saturday morning shows "Ark II" and "The Secrets of Isis." I have both of them. There was also "Shazam!" which my brother has. Filmation also had the original "The Ghost Busters" series and did "Space Academy" which was a spin-off of "Jason of Star Command."
I don't trust people who say they've never had a drink. They don't have to be a religious zealot, but they seem abnormal. What's the harm in trying a shot glass of whiskey, rum, brandy, vodka, tequila, etc...? I hear fanatic when I read about never drinking. But the parody was good, so 5s

Mr.Jonathan if you ever do try some alcohol, try Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey. It's less whiskey and more like Big Red gum flavored rubbing alcohol!!! And yes, my last name is Rebbeany! But people call me Red Beany, so I wear a red beanie on my dome! Am I crazy? Partially.
