The Lyrics

This is a scene from late in the Second World War, when the German Luftwaffe was sending up all sorts of strange experimental aircraft in the dying months of the war. Here is Jadgleutnant Werner Heifetz, formerly of the Hot Air Balloon and Göthe Appreciation Society, being urged aboard for the maiden flight of the "Hochgeschwindigkeit Schwarzkatze" experimental jet fighter. ~ Jack Ruttan, February 26, 2005
Schwarzkatze, Schwarzkatze,
Where have you been?
I've been to Rechlin
For further testing

Schwarzkatze, Schwartzkatze,
What did you there?
I practiced fast bombing
High up in the air

Schwarzkatze, Schwarzkatze,
Where have you been?
I've been to Rechlin
For further testing

Schwarzkatze, Schwartzkatze,
What did you there?
I practiced fast bombing
High up in the air

Lots of experimental fighter planes back then, makes me wonder if more pilots got killed testing them, than actually fighting with them. ;-) Nice parody Rob! :-) 5's!

Hanna Reitsch crashed several times but survived her experimentals, even inside a V-1 missile! But two male pilots were killed with the He-162 jet fighter and Ba-349 rocket fighter. Major Richard Bong, America's top ace with 40 kills was killed while testing an early P-80A Shooting Star...
