The Lyrics

Whatever happened to real wars in which the US knew that might for right was the reason and total victory was the goal? Since WW2, Korea was a stalemate, Vietnam a total loss, failed "Operation Eagle Claw" to rescure the Americans held in Iran, the destruction of the Marine barracks in Beirut, a series of small wars against fragile nations Panama and Grenada, coalition was ODS which failed and led to OIF with the French and Germans sitting it out so that we never had the 250,000 troops needed for a true victory; instead, we changed frim WMDs to Liberty and failed to disarm the population. In Afghanistan a decade later there is no real progress and even when troops are removed, garrisons in both nations will exceed 110,000 troops. Is that a defined victory? No. The 9/11 world is still here and nuclear proliferation among our enemies continue with new threats by Al Qaida. Osama is dead- so what? Look at the Israeli model b/c that is what the US is now- the Western Israel to the Muslim world. US Airpower? Nullified to the point that UAVs patrol the skies and crude UCAVs have to represent the firepower of the once proud USAF. Gadhafi is still in power too with no win in sight for that sad almost 6-month "conflict". America is a Superpower on paper and it is crumbling under debt internally.
O US might, overseas our troops are dying
We haven’t had real victory since the end of WW2
Long lay the world in evil and endless fighting
But We disappeared as a Superpower of true worth

The lack of hope, the weary troops mourning
For overseas breaks a new and deadly dawn
AFV hit an IED, O hear the soldier’s burning
Our might declined, O fight over which America is torn
Our might declined, Our might, Our might declined

The lack of hope, the weary troops mourning
For overseas breaks a new and deadly dawn
AFV hit an IED, O hear the soldier’s burning
Our might declined, O fight over which America is torn
Our might declined, Our might declined, O yes, it has

(Our might declined)
Oh yes, it has
(Our might declined)
O, We haven’t had real victory since the end of WW2
(Our might declined)
It’s been gory, gory, gory, gory
(Our might declined)
Oh, oh, oh, yes it has

Our might declined, Our might
Our might declined, Our might
Our might declined

This could start Word War 3 if they are not careful! I always say, that in war there are no good or bad sides, they are both doing the same thing, "killing" for foolish self started reasons. ;-) Great parody too! 555! :-)
