| Parody Song Title: | "You're Stealing Music" |
| Parody Written by: | LPG-Unit |
Well, to be honest, I'm also into filesharing and Limewire... I thought of whipping this up as a witty yet satirical take on DRM, piracy and record companies, as well as software developers who seem to oppress people online. DKTOS? Here's the video to the song, which was featured in the film "Little Miss Broadway".
[Verse I]
You're stealing music
Don't you be a pirate
When you use Bittorrent
Limewire
(Buy the full album!)
Your downloads can't be
As big as all that
When you're sharing all that
Kids all swarm you
You're stealing music
Don't you be a robber
Why not go to iTunes
And buy?
Don't warez those albums
And megs full of files
Why steal them music?
Just buy!
[Verse II]]

Apparently, iTunes is encouraging stealing music by raising their price to a buck twenty nine for their most popular songs.
Unabashed greed.
LPG, I was alerted from one of your comments in one of Jose Mari Chan's parody that you are Filipino. I also happen to be Filipino as well. Kumusta ka? You speak Tagalog? That's just about all I can say in that language. Anyways, stealing music is a very tricky situation. People are likely to get sued for that. Well, here's 555 free downloads of your fave tunes from iTunes in your iPod...no need to steal them!
Gee, thanks. Eto, ayos lang (I'm fine here). And thanks for the MP3s... :p
