The Lyrics
In the 1950s French aircraft designer Rene Couzinet designed a series of unorthodox aircraft he hoped to sell to the French AF. But his designs were too radical and his powerplants just did not work. His full scale mock-up of his RC-360 disc craft was shown in Paris in 1955, but it was rejected as impractical with no military requirement. He tried other bizarre designs like scimitar craft and strange helos, but could not get funding. The RC-360 is sometimes mistaken for a captured German WW2 disc due to the slung turbojet, but it was not. Pics below...
