Pogojet sounds more interesting that taser. I did like this.
I wonder what the liability would be if the laser rangefinder malfunctions and wrong velocity seriously injured somebody?
That's why they call all the new stuff "less leathal" rather than "non-lethal". Any time you have a projectile, someone could get hurt. I had some Brazilian "anti-motin" ammo, 12 gauge with plastic pellets. Wouldn't scratch the paint on an old water heater. Warning on box in Portuguese said "lethal up to 3 meters". There is a bean bag gun I saw once on line, but too expensive to practice with.
I can't imagine that being hit by any .50 Cal bullet at any velocity and KE would be pleasant. But it might save lives. Send some to inner city cops!
There are people who have died from Tasers. Some would say an allegedly "non-lethal" weapon would make cops even more likely to shoot someone.
