Parody Song Title:

"Sieg Rifle Never Used"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

The 1946 Sieg Rifle bullpup was designed by a member of the USCG, James Sieg. It was a .30-06 weapon, gas-operated, that had unusual features: no selector switch but double triggers, folding front and rear sights, and a multi-functional muzzle compensator that could be used as Flash suppressor and grenade launcher! Not adopted despite compactness. US Army didn't want a Coast Guard designed weapon...
Sieg Rifle never used
Was declined

American bullpup shot real smooth
.30-06
From 1946

Coast Guard man designed it
Box mag- 20 rounds
Gas-operated action
But no selector switch was found
(Two triggers, singles or 700 rds)

Sieg Rifle never used
It was declined
For the time

Sight folds cool
Frame shaped smooth
MC worked duel
A compact design
Army didn't dare
To replace carbine
Looked at German finds*

A letdown for James Sieg
Sieg Rifle never used
It was declined
(Faded into obscurity)

*In 1946 the US was still analyzing captured German firearms for evaluation. The Sieg Rifle: http://40.media.tumblr.com/4bda1cfaac5d62575f24b7dd0ee314cc/tumblr_navd7nU6Ug1rwjpnyo1_1280.jpg

As a left-handed rifle shooter, bull-pup designs never resonated with me, though I know there are some models that can be switched. I'd like to shoot this one to experience the downward recoil. That would be interesting. I regret that time years ago when I passed up a Schwarzlose blow-forward automatic pistol at a Topeka gun show, for $95! That recoil would have been really strange, and was said to be one of the reasons the pistol never caught on. When I saw the name "Sieg Rifle", I first thought it might have been some last-ditch German invention of WWII. Hitler would have approved the name "Sieggewehr".

Germany already used 5+1 assault rifles in WW2: FG-42, Mkb-42(H), Mkb-42(W), STG-44 family, VG 1-5, and was field testing STG-45. They also had the Knorr-Bremse bullpup prototype.

Oh, Rob, shut the hell up already!!! This is a non-parody of an idiotic OS. You got the usual personal-experience comment from Patrick, and the automatic nine straight 5s. No more of your add-on comments. Just update your personal data bases and go to sleep in your Kids R Us airplane bed. Jeez!!!

I'm so sorry that you can't stand Milspeak and probably never used a firearm in your life for anything. If you don't like my topics, don't click my links. Your petty commentary is pathetic at best.

I can't avoid your remarks in Latest Comments, which in your case is Lamest Comments. You don't know a damn thing about me, my experience with MIL Specs, my military service, and my facility with firearms. Your arsenal consists only of "petty" and "pathetic." You make Trump look like a front line hero and intellectual. Maggot, I told you to go to sleep. It's way past your bedtime.

I assure you impotent mouse warrior that despite any military training with any weapon that you and your experience mean absolutely nothing to me. Go crawl back under your rock...

I'm one of the rough men who stood guard at night so the likes of you could sleep well. If that means nothing to you, you aren't worthy to smell my s**t.

Never needed you. My dad worked Intel and we were protected. Was taught to shoot at 7 and have had hundreds of firearms, proficient will all types. Been to mil facilities you will never have access to and learned martial arts, swordplay, how to fly gliders, single prop aircraft, and took helo lessons. I have always protected myself with no need of assistance from anyone including cops. I am better armed than they are. You talk tough but out of your @ss. if Greatest Gen, so what? My family is both US and German. Btw, this weapon is American, so WTFs your problem Jarhead or Grunt??? I'll take your sorry @ss M-1, M-14, M-16, and M-4 with good old 7.62x39mm anyday or perhaps any Pistol with HK USP .45 or Walther P-99QA .40 cal. Tac shotgun, sniper, edged weaponry, electrical, chemical, or improvised. You are no threat to me, Pops. Go take your pills and remember to change your adult diapers.

To the rest of you: why is it that JAB did IPASOY parodies in blocks for years long before I was here and afterwards and no condemnation of him using "this crummy song?" He has done over 500 of them to my nearly 700 of them! And others have too. Seems the double standard still applies.

Rob, ignore this buffoon full of hot air. He's a hot headed reactionary with mental illness who has little comprehension of obscure weapons. FWIW, I copy much of your texts to brush up on my military history and others here probably do the same. This loudmouth has to use a pseudonym like the other trolls. Gulf War vet? Really? Hey dude provide your rank, unit, full name, tours of duty, and DD-214 details! That should shut the windbag down. He's a coward anyway. A real man would have listed the former in detail from the start. The guy's a troll IMHO.

That's right, mental illness. PTSD to be exact. I broke an Iraqi's neck in hand-to-hand. I still see his face and I can't sleep. My Dad's prosthetic leg doesn't fit any more and he's been waiting almost 2 years for the VA to see him. They can't fix me. You're afraid to fight but why isn't the VA on your agenda, instead of writing phony parodies on show-off weapons' specs?

Prove any of which you claim, bottom dweller. Btw, can't be a draft dodger when there was no draft!!! Your CQB isn't impressive either, pseudonym. Be careful that someone doesn't double tap you center mass or split your gray matter from a mile away with a .338LM round. Again, you are no threat to me. Look forward to more IPASOY weapon parodies, jackass!
