I've always wondered if a vegetarian is still a vegetarian if he's a triffid steak eater? No I didn't, I just made that up to compensate for the fact that I know this piece of 60s sf-trivia tooooooooo. :-)

Thanks guys. Know 1, please don't tell me you know of Triffids from that stupid American lighthouse movie. The book was 1951, the faithful TV series was 1981, and in between was a "name only" ripoff where they were melted by sea water. I just read the book again, it's dated incredibly well.
