Parody Song Title:

"Bragtime Cowboy Joe"

Parody Written by:

Airfarcewon

Comes from Arizona, says he wore a star
Claims he shot ten guys in gunfights, in boothill they are..
Made Clint Eastwood eat his cigar..
..He's Bragtime Cowboy Joe
Brags he can herd sheep and cattle in his sleep
Likes to bulldog steers and make their horns go beep
Yeah, sometimes it gets real deep..
Hear the big wind blow...

Boast, he does..
'Bout how great he is with cattle
Swears he was..
Born to be there in the saddle
His poor horse, ( a really good horse)
Likely greets the dawnin' yawnin'
Would run off if no one tied her
Knowin' Joe's her boring rider..

Nights, he'll keep..
Talkin' till all cowboys sleep..
Think he would have the sense to know
He's a big mouth, blabbin, Jawin'.. gabbin'..
Oughta' go back to Arizona,
Bragtime Cowboy, (ego-manic cowboy)
Bragtime Cowboy Joe

Says he's lightning fast and outdrew Wyatt Earp
When loud his tongue's a' flappin, louder crickets chirp
He really is a campfire twerp..
It's always bragtime there

Wanglers smile and shake their head and let it slide
Know his mouth is bigger than his big backside
Never heard such foolish pride
Old Joe's got his share..

Boast, he does..
'Bout how great he is with cattle
Swears he was..
Born to be there in the saddle
His poor horse, ( a really good horse)
Likely greets the dawnin' yawnin'
Would run off if no one tied her
Knowin' Joe's her boring rider..

Nights, he'll keep..
Talkin' till all cowboys sleep..
Think he would have the sense to know
He's a big mouth, blabbin, Jawin'.. gabbin'..
Oughta' go back to Arizona,
Bragtime Cowboy, (ego-manic cowboy)
Bragtime Cowboy Joe

I have a reeputation for decorating my Silicon Valley 'cube' with photos of horses & Cowboys: Tommy Lee Jones, ~ Clint E ~ Sam Elliot. ~ Now I just found my latest: < Tom Selleck > on the current cover of " Cigar Afficiando" magazine!! un Chevalier par excellence!!
