The Lyrics

For reasons even I no longer comprehend I posted a snippet of this song as a appendage to another song. Now it's fully fleshed out and seeing as how geography parodies are in vogue ..... This song is from the grand finale of the epic Bushido-Kabuki romp "Yokohama." In this scene, we see the young samurai apprentice-protagonist being ordered to commit seppuku for a faux pas committed during a tea ceremony for his damyio. But instead of ritualistically eviscerating himself the plucky young hero stops the show with .....
They couldn't pick a worse way to end my life
Might faint too early and I might look lame
Gonna spill my entrails with this sharpened knife
Soon be dealing with my sense of shame
Sense of shame! Redeem the clan's name
Gonna pay the cost of yer shameful mis-deeder*
Restore family name per code of Bushi-der*
Expiring like a blossom as the geishas swoon
Plen'y of blood and plen'y of doom
Plen'y of neck to take the sword
Plen'y of pain to appease my lord

(Cue totally discordant swell of Western orchestral music)

Yo-o-o-o-o-o-OH! .. Kohama
Where typhoons come roaring off the bay
Where the planting rice, can sure smell nice
Till tsunamis wash it all away!
Yo-o-o-o-o-o-OH! .. Kohama
Every night my dread Lord and Sempai
Sits alone aloof, as ninjas scale the roof
Cause the Shogun wants his ass to die!
I know I belong to my Lord
But I really hope dont have to use this sword
Cause if I say ... ("Ye-oww!")
My life will bleed away
I'm only saying "This really hurts Yokohama"
Yokohama, not OK

(Enter chorus of square dancing geishas)

Yo-o-o-o-o-o-OH! .. Kohama
Where typhoons come roaring off the bay
Where the planting rice, can sure smell nice
Till tsunamis wash it all away
Yo-o-o-o-o-o-OH! .. Kohama
Every night this earnest samurai
Sits alone in shame, though he's not to blame
Cause his master wants his ass to die!
We know he's a guileless kohai
But we really dont wanna see him die
So when we shriek .. ("Ai-eee!")
It's just our way to plead .. ("Ai-eee!")
We're only asking "Please spare his life, Yokohama"
Yokohama, 'zat OK?

Yokohama, Yokohama, Yokohama, Yokohama
Yokohama, Yokohama, Yokohama, Yokohama
Yoko-HAMA!, Yoko-HAMA!, Yoko-HAMA!!, Yoko-HAMA!!

We know he belongs to his Lord
But we really dont wanna see this gore
So when we say ... ("Aieee!")
Wakarimas sehn! .. "Aieee!"
We're only saying
Why spill his blood, Yokohama?
Yokohama, not OK

DOMO ARIGATU ..
YOKOHAMA-A-A-A-A-A-A!!
HAI!!

Wakarimas sen -- I dont understand. Kohai -- apprentice .... *These moronically rustic lyrics were, in fact, sung by Tomo-award winning Japanese Hill-billy, Yokel Ono. (I loathe myself)
