I made this as an ode to one of the most hyped and criticized games today: Grand Theft Auto IV. I thought of parodying a 1930s show tune partly for the lulz, and partly because some of the original lyrics fit the theme very well.
Games have changed
All the characters have a Glock
And conservatives got a shock
When they saw me go rob a bank
Rockstar Games,
Any shock they should try to stem,
'Stead of buying a Plymouth car,
Jacking cars they do all day.
In olden days a drive-by shooting
Was looked on as something shocking,
But now, it's all,
GTA Four.
Some Serbian dude who once lived very hard,
Now spends his time in Liberty
Hitting poles, GTA Four.
These kids have gone mad today
A deathmatch today,
And a murder spree,
And I blew a tree,
When most guys today
That women prize today
Are just silly gigolos
In olden days a drive-by shooting
Was looked on as something shocking,
But now, it's all,
GTA Four.

I thought that this parody was going to be about the convertible made by Renault in the 1980s or the one made by Alfa-Romeo in the 1960s, both called GTA and powered by four cylinders. But Grand Theft Auto is still a favorite video game of mine, and this parody is quite good. 5s.
I know there is such a thing as an Alfa Romeo GTA, although it's more of like an unintentional pun, as most people think of the game when they hear or see the acronym...
