And died in a sad tragedy
David Koresh was their leader
Many swore Jim Jones in disguise
Fed claims of their running a drug lab
Was dismissed as ATF lies..

Complaints from one disgruntled member
Had declared there were children abused
A first raid would kill four fed'ral agents
Six Davidians, too, would die
For fifty one long days a stand off
As tempers and tensions ran high

Some later claimed flammable mix
Very soon there was disaster
That no one could hold back or fix
The church erupted in fire
