I had this very idea this morning. Thank you for saving me the work. (And the fives, but I'll take that trade.) Here's the question: Should we root for the most talented performer to win, or should we root for Sanjaya (as I've always seen it spelled) to win, thus proving what a farce "Idol" is? I mean, they've gotten it right every time so far... Well, no, Katherine McPhee is better than Taylor Hicks, but that's not a huge blow-it. But this time, Sanjaya is all anyone can talk about. I don't even know who the other candidates are! If Sanjaya winning brings down Simon Cowell and puts egg on Fox's face, I say let the eggs fall where they may!
