The Lyrics

Dedicated to the beloved PBS Kids program.
Sing, (Start in to sing, you’ll have to swing,)
Then, you’ll swing, (Start in to sing, you’ll have to swing,)
That kids show is bound to get you,

Oh, (Turn on the heat, then beat your feet,)
Don’t go slow, (Turn on the heat, then beat your feet,)
That kids show is bound to get you,

Kids show, kids show, kids show, kids show, kids show...mmm...

(female vocal)

Arthur Steps,
Start in to watch, then soon, you’ll be watching,
Arthur Steps,
Punch your sister, the Reads will be grounding,

One, two, three,
Kids throughout the nation, (dee-de-oh!)
All agree,
It’s the show that’s putting the kids on their feet,

Arthur Steps,
Once you begin, you have to give in to
Arthur Steps,
Get on your toes, ‘cause everyone knows that

If you’re not a dunce,
Oh, you’ll catch on at once,
Well, Arthur’s fist is a meme,
It’s the Arthur Steps!

(vocal trio)

Arthur Steps,
Start in to watch, then soon, you’ll be watching,
Arthur Steps,
Punch your sister, the Reads will be grounding,

One, two, three,
Kids throughout the nation, (doo-doo-do-doo!)
All agree,
It’s the show that’s putting the kids on their feet,

Arthur Steps,
Once you begin, you have to give in to
Arthur Steps,
Get on your toes, ‘cause everyone knows that

If you’re not a dunce,
You’ll catch on at once,
Arthur’s fist is a meme,
It’s the Arthur Steps, whoa!

Arthur Steps,
(instrumental call-back)
Arthur Steps,
(instrumental call-back)

One, two, three,
Kids across the nation, (doo-doo-do-doo!)
All agree,
It’s the show that’s putting the kids on their feet,

Arthur Steps,
(instrumental call-back)
Arthur Steps,
(instrumental call-back)

If you’re not a dunce,
You’ll catch on at once,
Arthur’s fist is a meme,
It’s the Arthur Steps, whoa!

Simple as the day is long!

Again, can’t see the justification for parodying this song eight times in a single day but have to wonder why you don’t have the balls to submit a parody of anything recorded after the 1930s. Ever heard of rock ‘n’ roll, rap or K-pop? Oh wait, a brain-dead geezer like yourself would only know one musical genre, and it would go against everything you stand for to even try to parody anything different. Enlighten us, what do you get out of posting your repeat-a-thons? Pretty much like telling the same old joke over and over isn’t it?

Hey One-Note Johnny, you about done beating this drum? Same old song, same old subjects — isn’t this the 90th one? TBH I’m still not sure what you intend to accomplish by using the same song ad nauseam, (eight times today alone) but I’m about ready to contact the management of this website. Everyone here knows you don’t have anywhere near the creative ability to use a song recorded after the 1930s, let alone use a topic that’s even remotely relevant to the average American. To anyone else reading, please copy this page as an example of behavior that would most likely drive other parodists away.
