The Lyrics

Here is the song all about the 2023 MLB World Series baseball game.
Play, (Start in to play, then you’ll be playing,)
Then, you’ll swing, (Start in to play, then you’ll be playing,)
That home run is bound to get you,

Oh, (Turn on the field, then hit a run,)
Don’t go slow, (Turn on the field, then hit a run,)
That home run is bound to get you,

Home run, home run, home run, home run, home run...mmm...

World Series,
Start in to play, then soon, you’ll be playing,
World Series,
Turn on the play, your game will hit you,

One, two, three,
It’s a new champion, (dee-de-oh!)
You’ll agree,
It’s the step that’s putting the game on its feet,

World Series,
Once you begin, you have to give in to
World Series,
Get on your field, ‘cause everyone knows that

If you’re playing baseball,
Oh, you’ll catch on at once,
Well, simple as MLB,
It’s the World Series!

World Series,
Start in to play, then soon, you’ll be playing,
World Series,
Turn on the field, your game will keep beating,

One, two, three,
It’s a new sensation, (doo-doo-do-doo!)
You’ll agree,
It’s the field that’s putting the run on its feet,

World Series,
Once you begin, you have to give in to
World Series,
Get on your field, ‘cause everyone knows that

If you’re a umpire,
You’ll catch on at once,
Simple as MLB,
It’s the World Series, whoa!

World Series,
(instrumental call-back)
World Series,
(instrumental call-back)

One, two, three,
It’s a new home run, (doo-doo-do-doo!)
You’ll agree,
It’s the field that’s putting the world on its feet,

World Series,
(instrumental call-back)
World Series,
(instrumental call-back)

If you’re at a field,
You’ll catch on at once,
Simple as MLB,
It’s the World Series, whoa!

Simple as the day is long!
Tune in to the World Series on October 27th.

Good job stealing my trademark song, dorsal orifice.

BTW, if you’re going to parody this song 300 more times, use a phrase that fits the three-syllable meter first. “World Series” doesn’t really match up with “Rhythm Steps”. Take a look at my entries today: “Chia Pets”, “Swift Film Steps”, “Mucinex” and “Pepper X” all of which rhyme with the original title. Just sayin’…

Still, gotta give you kudos for having the courtesy to parody this song. Herbie Kay is spinning in his grave. Maybe you could do one about who will be Speaker of the House. Use “Speaker Steps”, “House Vote Steps” or “Speakers Race”. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! *sarcasm*

Awwww, whadda matter? Suck@AmIRight parodies your favorite song ever yet you have nothing but critiques for him? Ironic how you have no problem using the same song 85 times in a row, yet when your proxy b*tch does it you throw a hissy fit. And of course, you point out his flaws in the English language, as if he was going to parody this “song” in the correct meter anyway. As for your hoboes-with-oboes tune hero, Herbie Kay would probably be laughing at your worthless drivel rather than congratulate you for using his song over and over. Lastly, as regards to the Speaker situation, the last thing we need to add to that drama is another ripoff of your favorite song ever regarding who will be the next Speaker. FYI, you wouldn’t be able to hold down that job if you tried.

I don’t have a problem with him parodying the song. What I have an issue with is that he’s only doing it because he saw my parodies of it, and, since he’s only used this song three times, he has no familiarity with the song’s meter or rhyming patterns to get it right. But leave it to Phil Ossifer to not only point out his inherent flaws with the English language, but also take yet another potshot at my entries. Ah, I could have never realized how he was such a moron at English AND how I was dumb enough to even suggest that Herbie Kay would be proud of my entries without you pointing that out to me, dear Phil Ossifer! How stupid I was. Now go to bed, the Speaker vote is coming up in the morning.
