The Lyrics

If you rent movies
take the stress of fees
soon their gonna fall
with BlockBuster

It's a store downtown
people come around
and they say

I Ain't afraid of late fees

I ain't afraid of late fees

If your feeling bad
and full of dread
then go to BlockBuster

An invisible clock's
tickin' in your head
sayin' "It's tme
to return your movie"

BlockBuster makes me feel good!

I ain't afraid of late fees!

sayin' "

Manda - The original song was longer, but I like what you've done here very much. ;D

I agree with OMR, it was longer, but still it's a good parody to me, and I do like the original song too! :-) So, I suppose 5's can be in order here. ;-) Good work!

Yes, the OS was longer (but maybe the author used a radio-play version of it instead of the album/movie version, which Ray Parker, Jr. sang), but it's still pretty good. $555 toward your next video rental. Around here, the Blockbusters are all shutting down and the Hollywood Video stores are gone since every single Stop-N-Rob, gas station food mart, big-box store or supermarket has a Redbox machine out front, people are getting Netflix or movies on on-demand cable. I buy dog food, flea meds and grooming supplies from a converted Blockbuster and shop for antiques out of a former Hollywood Video.
