The Lyrics
Ex-Senator Charles Hagel is being nominated for Secretary of Defense by President Barack Obama. He's Obama's first Republican nominee, and based on his Senate record will move to avoid troop commitments and manage a decreasing budget.
TOS is appropriate because its hero was shunned by his own kind but emerged to serve the sleigh driver as no other could under difficult conditions. The colors I mention refer to the two parties. Dolphins (in my title) can jump from one pool to another. The invasive walking catfish and Asian swamp eel in the Everglades are a bit slower.
