Today there was a news in a Helsinki newspaper that a lovesick sealion had kissed and hugged a man who had been snorkeling. So it put my poetic mind on the place of that guy who got to taste a phocine basium.
I went to South Atlantic sea to do snorkeling
The water was still and clear
I wanted see the fish and the corals -
but I was kissed by a seal
Outside Puerto Madryn beach it did happen
the things they went all surreal
I saw a slender thing and I felt the whiskers -
I was kissed by a seal
She came out from wild blue yonder
She embraced me with his flippers' touch
She liked my camera like a wonder
but her wet tongue - it was just too much!
I don't mind a tender hug or caressing
Sealions are cute as can be -
But I wish it will next time be a mermaid -
not French kiss by a seal

I remember 60 years ago when I first heard "Sealed With A Kiss" I went up to my Mom and said "What is that sh*t? That is the sappiest POS of a song I've ever heard. Turn it the f#(k off!! ..... Apparently, my mother was dumbfounded by this, as these were the first words I had ever spoken
Now that you've "wetted" your appetite for seal kiss parodies, Susanna, perhaps you could parody "Kissed by a Rose" by Seal as "Kissed by a Seal" by Rose. Im sure Chuck E would give this his "seal of approval."
