On the west side of Bloomington
Born and raised
On a playground where I went running from gays
Chillin' out nights and relaxin' all cool

Once I forgot my towel at the swimming pool
When a "couple of guys"
If you know what I mean
Offered me a towel but wanted something from me

I got in one little fight and my mom got pissed,
She said, "You're moving with your uncle and his partner in Key West"
I whistled for a cab and when it came near,
The license plate had rainbows and it had Richard Simmons in the mirror

If anything I'd have thought that walking was best,
But I thought, Nah, forget it, "Yo homo, to Key West!"
I pulled up to a house about 7:30
And I yelled to the cabbie, "You homo, stay away from me!"

Looked at my kingdom
I was finally blessed (yeah, right)
To sit on my throne as the prince of Key West
