March 17th
Is coming' around.
The bars will be packed
All over your town.
Leprechauns with gold
Are on the scene
The rivers in town
Are a shade of green
Celebrate no matter
What faith you are
Pack the old
Emerald bar
When you wake up
No work and all play
And grab a beer on
This Irish holiday
St. Patty's Day! (Drink Away! Drink Away!)
St. Patty's Day! (Drink Away! Drink Away!)
St. Patty's Day! (Drink Away! Drink Away!)
St. Patty's Day! (Drink Away! Drink Away!)
Make sure you wear some green
A clover idea
It's sure to bring you luck
Can't wait to see ya
Meet us at the bar
We're about to get started
And -be a part of the
St. Patrick's Day party
St. Patty's Day! (Drink Away! Drink Away!)

Erin Go Bragh.
A couple more years and I can really enjoy this holiday, all I get now is corn beef and cabbage.. Which I would trade in a heartbeat for a mug of green beer. "A Clover Idea" was a cute line.
Matthias already "nick"ed the "A clover idea" line; that was my favorite, too. Congrats on the first submission of this song (and band).
(Dec 2.0) Aye, to be sure, to be sure, that was hilarious, Jeff. 555 taters for ye.
(dec2.5) I'd like to see those Irish river-dancing to this OS, Jeff - 555
Decathlon...as a non-drinker, I've always felt a little cheated by Saint Patrick's Day...although I did always like to request that the folks at the bar dye my Sprite green so that I could fit in with all of my friends. ; )
DEC- Aye, it's the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! The luck of the Irish is with you. Well done, Jeff.
Thought I'd commented on this one already.. to be sure. And I'm sure you've captured the spirit perfectly :-)
(DEC 2.5) See above...I love St Pat's, and you perfectly summed up the reasons why
Loved it! 5s Great OS too
(DEC 2) Two irony's. . .the groups name is "The Toasters" and you wrote a parody about Getting Toasted> . . .well I thought it was funny. . .and the other thing is, I'm wearing a Hot Topic Green Day shirt right now that says "Kiss Me I'm Punk" around an four leaf clover.
555: for anything Irish! It always warms my Austro heart. iIcan hardly wait for corn beef & cabbage . . .
