The Lyrics

Now me, I'm a nice, sensitive, emotional touchy-feely kinda guy. But cause thats how I am, and I feel better this way. Unlike emos/scene kids, who are "sensitive" cause its the cool thing to do...So nothing against sensitivity, just people who exploit it for fashion
Early one evening
With time to kill
I went to a concert
With my friends to chill
I saw a lone emo
Walk in the door
And followed thereafter
By a couple more
My anger increased
At these fashion queers
Conformist in...
Their trendy tears
These kids keep on spawning,
Wish the scene was dead
I hung my head
I hung my head

I set off running
To escape the scene
I fled from that concert
With a quiet scream
I kept on running
Into the dark night
And that's where they caugt me
And knocked out my lights
Those scene kids, they nabbed me
Althought I had run
And then it came to me
That my time was done
"You'll walk among us now!"
Are the words they said
I hung my head
I hung my head

Here in the concert
I wake in a sweat
I see the emos
But can't hear them yet
I look in a mirror
And dread what I find
I'm decked out all emo
Pants cling my behind
I felt the panic
Of a loss of self
I cired over Hawthorne
Cried over spilt milk
I look for a way out,
I wish I was dead
I hung my head
I hung my head

Early one morning
With time to kill
I see the scene kids
With them I'll chill
And out in the distance
A trick of the mind
I see a lone punker;
One of a kind
He's come to hang out
At this local show
But we will soon get him
Turn him emo
I'm part of this clique now
With tight trendy threads
I hung my head
I hung my head
You could also apply this to the Johnny Cash version, both are exceptional songs. I actually like the Cash version a little better, but I submitted it under Sting, since he was the original artist.

Pretty imaginative. Kind of like invasion of the body snatchers. 555
