A tribute to the phenom of the hour, Jeremy Lin of the NY Knicks. "Trey" is slang for three point field goal. And for the benefit of those still young enough to bear or sire offspring, "Earl the Pearl" refers to basketball HOFer Earl Monroe who played mostly with the Bullets but won an NBA Championship withthe Knicks
