I didn't vote but I just wanted to say this parody really isn't that bad aside from some pacing errors in my case I do believe in God always have always will but it seems to me that some things in the bible contradict themselves or just flat out don't make sense that said my faith in and love for God remains unchanged
What verses are you struggling with. I was raised Catholic, then stopped practicing through college. Now my wife and I joined a Reformed Church and I find its easier to understand the Bible now. Reformed is an off-shoot of Lutheran, which itself is an off-shoot of Protestant. What denomination are you? Cause I spoken with a lot of struggling Catholics. Catholicism is good, but sometimes too much tradition can acts as a barrier between us and the Word.
Glen, you have one thing backwards -- Protestantism is an offshoot of Lutheranism. Martin Luther is the first Western theologian to break from the Roman Catholic Church, other Europeans then broke from Luther........ And then there's the break made by Henry VIII; but most people believe that Henry's issues with the Catholic Church were more related to the Royal Penis and the gender of offspring issue-ing forth from the loins of his current wife as opposed to any particular dogma. In other words, Henry's issues were more prostatic than dogmatic
