And he aint no Charlton Heston either.
Welll.....hate to say it, but ....I know this is one of the hardest bands in the world to parody...and you know I luv ya man...but there was just no "oomph" to this. The first stanza did not pace well, for starters. And I was expecting much more bite and expansiveness on the subject: why not pan also Top Gun, Days Of Thunder, Cocktail, etc? "Laughing, joking, laughing..." while appropriate, still could have been changed. You missed a great opportunity to cover Risky Business with the "in his underwear" line.
Matty, I think you should go back to the drawing board and give it a second submission. Sorry, you know that I'm an honest judge, and here is no exception. Peace out.

Yeah, I agree that this one isn't my best.... I've been out of it parody-wise lately (As you can tell by how many times I had to post "Love Does Cost Something") Hopefully I'll get out of this funk in the near future, hopefully...
