The Ark...
Two by two,
Hewn Cyprus trees,
Waterproofed with tar, decks were three
One pair lodged,
Seven pairs to sacrifice and use,
God told Noah just what to do
The Ark grew,
450 feet,
75 feet wide, height high above the trees*
Looked like a barge,
18" slot for air below the roof,
One side door to close, then loud BOOMS!
Water plumes,
Rain in sheets,
40 days and nights until complete
150 days didn't budge,
70 days receded slowly, Ark moved
Another 40 days drifting too!
Doves times two,
14 days... a twig
Water dried up by 315 days- Big!!!
2 more months holed,
Then Noah let out the zoo,
375 days and the world was NEW!!!
