Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

we all know shaq cant make a freethrow but hes still ok. i dont know if you will like it but i hope yall do.
i was playin some horse
against the 7'1, freethrow atheist
but i knew dont get to smart
(he could still pummel me .)

i was sweating, i was scared,
but i knew id be all right
oh, cause i knew i had a shot he was gunna miss
just miss, just miss

i beat shaq with a freethrow, baby (ha)
i beat shaq with a freethrow, baby (ha)

well, i was happy know
my dream of winning shined
i sank the shot right away
then went to the line
i took a breath and went for it all
sank it in and saw shaq in an all

i beat shaq with a freethrow baby (sorry)
i beat shaq with a freethrow, baby (guess i just can)

didnt know my advantage til i found out a shot
i guess i had good thinkin matched with some wit
well, i know with that shot he's always gunna miss
next time bring the kitty hoop and some nerf balls to

i beat shaq with a freethrow, baby (ha)
i beat shaq with a freethrow, baby (sorry)
i beat shaq with a freethrow, baby
i beat shaq with a freethrow, baby

Thanks was really funny, Chance! MUCH better than watching the actual NBA!

Great concept. Suggestion: since this is primarily a print medium, bone up on the differences between "to" and "too", as they trip up us nit-picking readers. Extra credit if you can get the title to pace to OS title, though not mandatory -- just something to think about in the future. Shaq's free-throw percentage: 55.5% (or is it lower? lol)

I DKTOS, but trusted Mark's judgment on the pacing. I voted one of the 555s, and from Mark's comment, it would appear that he voted the other.

Not only a needless personal attack (critique the parody, not the person), but also unfounded just by looking at the two comments. JacyDub, are you related to George Dub? ... just curious.

Chance, I reported the inappropriate personal attack on you and your mother ... that's why it's missing. Valid criticisms, yes; personal attacks, no.

The title doesn't pace well with that of TOS, so I will need to downgrade the pacing. There's one syllable too many, so it kinda messes it up when you try to sing it.

I know it's late to comment, but I enjoyed your parody! I've idolized Shaq since high school! I know I can never beat him in a free throw, though!
