| Parody Song Title: | "The Unforgettable Liar" |
| Parody Written by: | MrMacphisto |
This is another political parody that deals with a serious subject, but I hope you guys like the message. I'll warn you though... it's not very humorous.... Anyway, this again is addressing Bush....
Lies
You make them till blood runs cold
These city fights
They show us what we now know
Smug from the sight
Your lies as black as coal
Talk on by
Talk on through
Talk till it's done, but don't look back
For here, we're damned
Animal
The planes fly and
The bullets spin through stony walls
Red lines from punctures in skin
Face to face
In a dry and waterless place
Talk on by
Talk on through
So bad to deceive your home but...
Hang on
Pray this time
Pray tonight for their lives
I'm only asking, but I...
I think you know
Combat takes them away
You have led them astray
Come on bring them home...
Home again
And if this nation should crumble
Or fade away in history
Would be clear that we tried
Pray this time
Pray tonight for their lives
Hear their laughter
Just one more time
And if you save their lives
Love at all, care at all
Don't push this too far
With bombs and Kevlar
Tonight, tonight, tonight...
You make them till blood runs cold
These city fights
They show us what we now know
Smug from the sight
Your lies as black as coal
Talk on by
Talk on through
Talk till it's done, but don't look back
For here, we're damned
Animal

Once again, a pro-democracy, anti-Bush parody that gets fives on merit, when I would've voted all fives had it stunk (and a few anti-Bush parodies have stunk). Still think the media is liberal? Face it, the comedians are all rooting for Bush. The federal government is currently writing their material, and John Kerry just ain't funny. Oh, God forbid we should have a President who doesn't make people laugh. Or cry.
Thanks Michael... Although I do know four comedians that will probably root for Kerry: Jon Stewart, Dave Chappelle, Lewis Black, and Janeane Garofalo.
fantastic paradoy. Best pacing i have ever seen. Straight 5s
Thanks very much, Brit... :)
