The Lyrics

No explanation needed here. BTW, though, the OS here is a "Kick-a** song - can be found on Pretenders album "Last Of The Independents".
(Instrumental lead-in)

I smell fresh grounds
my coffee's black
smell of donuts makes me drool
I can just taste their sweetness
My coffee needs to cool
I used some cream to make it light
Now I'll dunk my crullers and take a bite

I love crullers, crullers every day
Love those crullers, eat them every day
Sure love crullers, eat them; any way
I love crullers; regular or glazed
Sweet dough!
I love to eat them
Just cannot beat them
Love eating crullers, daily
Love those crullers

Let me make clear
I like them glazed
But I like them just plain, too
Then I dunk
in my coffee
sugar melts into
Just thinking of them makes me smile
Love to eat crullers; any style

Love those crullers; crullers, any way
I love crullers, eat them every day
Sure love crullers, eat them; any way
I love crullers; regular or glazed
Soft dough!
I love with filling
sweet, gooey filling
Love eating crullers, daily
Sweet, fresh crullers

(Instrumental break)

I love crullers
any way
Love those crullers
every day
Sure love crullers
plain or glazed
Give me crullers
everyday
Sweet dough!

(Instrumental break)

(can't top, can't stop)

Yeah!

(can't top, can't stop)
(can't top, can't stop)
(can't top, can't stop)

I love those crullers, daily

(can't top, can't stop)
(can't top, can't stop)

Got to have crullers, daily

(can't top, can't stop)
(can't top, can't stop)

(brief instrumental close)

Actually, I have a confession to make. I hardly ever eat donuts anymore. I still love 'em, but they don't like me too much it seems. Thanks, JD, Lionel & JB...Lionel, it so happens one of the first parodies I posted here exactly one year ago was "Honey Can We Stop For Donuts" based on the Beatles "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds". My chorus in that went "Honey can we stop for donuts? / Give me some before I go nuts / Honey can we stop for donuts? / Awwwwwww" Your comment reminded of that "go nuts" part. Thanks.
