The Lyrics

It's funny how inspiration can come from the most obvious of places...
Another reality show is dawning
So many, we can't count them all
We have to watch them till we find the few good ones
Beginning to think there aren't any at all

TV boasts reality with 'Mole's and that 'Fear Factor'
But we all know this way of life is fake
Pretty boys and girls can't go the distance
There's only so much pain that they can take

Many miles away
Someone's voted off the island
In the middle of a dark
Tropical place

Another 'mature content' warrning
The 'Jackass' boys now think that they can fly
He walks unhindered off the fifth floor balcony
And when he breaks his leg, he wonders why?

The silly 'Idols' cry and scream when Simon tells them they can't sing
And it's so stupid, we can't help but watch
And some think shows like 'Real TV' are superior
Watching people get hit in the crotch

Many miles away
Someone leaves tribal council
on the dark Tropical Isle

Another episode has ended
Only scenes from next week's show to face
Packed like lemmings watching shiny metal boxes
Contestants in a purely futile race

Evan tricked the girls and told them he's worth 50 million
He knows that people worldwide know he's fake
But as long as there's a pretty face in the highlights
You'll hear the people saying, "I can't wait!"

Many miles away
There's an outcast on the shore
Of a long sandy beach
Of a dark Tropical Isle

Many miles away
Many miles away
Many miles away
Many miles away
Many miles away...

Very funny. One minor detail: The song was called Synchronicity II.
