I wrote this a few days before the UK had its referendum on whether or not to stay in European Union.
REFERENDUM
The time has come, a decision is overdue.
Our time has come; it’s now all down to me and you.
So do we stay in Europe, or venture out on our own?
Now the referendum’s here, thank God at last!
Before you vote just think where you’ll put your cross
Will it affect your life or do you give a toss?
In the European Union there are laws for one and all.
Will a vote to stay in suit you? Bang your head against a wall.
Are you happy your decision is all right for me and you,
If it’s not then tell me now what should we do?
We’ve stalled too long so now this referendum
Will make it clear which way we’re going to go.
