Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

There is unrest with the artists
They are stealing MP3's
For the singers want more money
But we download songs for free

The trouble with the artists
(and they're quite convinced they're right)
They say it's gotten way too easy
To ignore their copyrights.

But the kids don't think it's stealing
With the files that they trade
And they wonder why the artists
Are not happy with what they're paid?

Well, it all began with Napster,
That guy closed his doors and fled,
When the courts had ruled against him,
I thought peer-to-peer was dead...

But they followed in their footsteps:
BitTorrent, KaZaA Lite
And decentralized the system,
Kept it hidden, out of sight
But you won't know what you're getting
So consider yourself warned
If you open your computer -
To hackers, worms, and porn.
A followup to Goodbye Napster
