The Lyrics

(PART ONE)
Grandpa needs Cornhuskers lotion
Junior needs to take a pee
Becky wants to shop at Zum Zum
Grandpa where's the mall directory?
Grandpa where's the mall directory?

All in all we're just a bunch of hicks in the mall
All in all we're all just hicks in the mall

(PART TWO)
We smell like dung from an old mule
There are ones among us who would feed the chickens, turkeys and chop wood
We've planted all our seedling upon all the ground we plow
Grandmas' sewn a new dress
We've cleaned the out house out and milked the cow
Now in town it is well known when we go there at night
our fat uneducated wives
Would spend like it's the last day of their lives

Grandma needs her medication
Jim Bob wants a fishin' pole
Some toilet paper for the out house
Hey Jethro! Leave that pig at home

All in all I'm just another hick in the mall
All in all we're all just hicks in the mall

(PART THREE)
I don't need no Wendy's Chili
And I don't need no Starbucks coffee
Don't need clothing sized for big or tall
Don't think I need anything at all
Oh no!
Don't think I need anything at all

All in all I'm just a hick in the mall
All in all we're all just hicks in the mall

Hey Jethro! Leave that pig at home

I could see the Beverly Hillbillies all the way through this. That line with Jethro was a killer but it would be more like a stunt Ellie Mae would pull. Spoken parts would have added some flavor to your parody, but I'm high fiving this as it is. Well done.

Some pacing problems with the "Happiest Days" section, but all in all a worthy effort. 445

It's those dreadful hillbillies. I saw them today at the mall and Jethro had Elly's pet pig along. I'm so glad this was a rerun or I would just died of embarassment. Oh those dreadful hillbillies - Milburn should have given Granny the 50 plus million dollars in nickels, dimes and quarters as she asked once. Let's see her as she says "tote" that bundle back to Bug Tussle, Ak.
