| Parody Song Title: | "Do You Come From A LAN Down Under?" |
| Parody Written by: | Drakkenfyre |
Traveling in a tricked-out Humvee
On a gaming trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange gamer, he made me nervous
He jacked me in and fragged me senseless
and he said
"Do you come from a LAN down under?
Where CRT's glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the wonder?
You better run, you better take cover"
Buying RAM from a man in Brussels
He had an Athlon 64 full of muscle
I said "Do you speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and sent me an ICQ message
and he said
"I come from a LAN down under
Where Bawlz does flow and sound cards thunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the wonder?
You better run, you better take cover"
Fragging in a den in Bombay
With a slack jam, and not much to say
I said to the man "Are you trying to tempt me
Because I come from the LAN of porning?
and he said
"Do you come from a LAN down under?
Where CRT's glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the wonder?
You better run, you better take cover"

TOS is simply called "Down Under"; please remember that for future reference. As for the parody itself, I think it's clever how you substituted "LAN" for "Land" in TOS's lyrics. Nice job.
I wrote this parody about two years ago, and I missed it then and missed it now, "jam" is supposed to be "jaw", -Drakk )))
No problem there, 555, very good.
How about taking a crack at Genesis' "Land of Confusion", I figure you could have great fun with it as "LAN of confusion". :-)
