Based on an incident a few months ago where the Navy was testing a ship close to Daytona Beach and caused an earthquake

Not bad, Larry. I've parodied this song elsewhere with "In The Jihad" This is no that easy as the lyrics are actually pretty amateurish and dont track the melody all that closely ... Just a couple of rhyming glitches, so 455
Pacing is off, uneven...

Ok, I was going by the lyrics I found on metrolyrics though (and constantly counting syllables as I always do). That's fine however. Funny comment Onslaught
Best test is to sing your version to see if it matches up. Try it. Yours falls short in several spots.
It was a simple shock trial using a 10,000 lb explosive detonated nearby the ship. It generated a small 3.7 seismic disturbance. It's used to test the structural integrity of the ship under simulated attack.
Thanks Rob (I don't think they're supposed to cause earthquakes on land though, that's why people are shocked and it gets news coverage when it happens)
A 3.7 is nothing (I live in California). By Richter scale it was minor. A real earthquake is 6-8+. The ship was the USS Jackson. Other things can cause seismic disturbances besides explosives like heavy construction and even supersonic flight. Florida has experienced many, so the Navy test is not unique.
