The Lyrics

This is a political satire about the folly in Washington. Should the theme song for "We the People" and for the restoration of America.
Take your job and shove it
You ain't working here no more
My money’s done left
and took all my reasons
I was working for
You better not try to stand in
my way as I’m opening up that door
Take your job and shove it
You ain't working here no more

I've been working in this factory
From nigh on fifteen years
All this time I watch my money
Drowning in pool of tears
And I've seen a lot of good folks die
That had a lot of bills to pay
I’d give the shirt right off of my back
If I have the guts to say

Take your job and shove it
You ain't working here no more
My money’s done left
and took all my reasons
I was working for
You better not try to stand in
my way as I’m opening up that door
Take your job and shove it
You ain't working here no more

Well, that Nancy Pelosi she's a raggedy old dog
That Harry Reid he's a fool
Got a brand new plane we paid for
looorrdd she thinks she's cool
One of these days I'll blow my top
And these suckers are gonna pay
lord I can't wait to see there faces
When we all get the nerve to say

Take your job and shove it
You ain't working here no more
My money’s done left
and took all my reasons
I was working for
You better not try to stand in
my way as I’m opening up that door
Take your job and shove it
You ain't working here no more

Take your job and shove it

(harmonica fade out)

A little too much usage of the original song for my taste, but well done...especially the first four lines of the second verse. ;D
