Unless the U.S. Congress takes action, the lower income tax rates passed in 2003 will expire at the end of 2012. Republicans want to extend the lower rates for all, but Democrats and President Obama would repeal them for high-income individuals and families. TOS opined that a good love relationship is more important than wealth. But voters are more focused on the latter, and President Obama might sing this to them in hopes of re-election.
I know I'd grow some tax on richest,
So they would fin'ly pay true share.
Until their pockets would be empty,
I'd bleed each millionaire.
My coffers may be shorn and shattered,
But in my heart I am the king.
More government is all that mattered,
Runs ev'rything.
I'll open their wallets, give hope to the poor

I, for one, hope he retires "like Schwartzenegger," but expect that when he does, he and his wife will become the darling of the liberal "talking heads" shows and we won't be rid of them for many years to come.
