The Lyrics

The Japanese have a Walking Mech that is piloted called Kuratas. It weighs 4600 kg and stands over 4m tall. It costs $ 1.3 million US. So far it is armed with toy weapons for entertainment combat, but a military version in the future looks probable. So far it cannot walk yet. It's combo legs and wheels are not synchronized. It uses the wheels only. The pilot is encased in the body and uses computer systems and a Metal Glove to work the mechanical claws that pick up objects. The design was based on Japanese Mecha animation.
Kuratas, Dear Lord, Kuratus;
Kuratas, Dear Lord, Kuratas;
Kuratas, Dear Lord, Kuratas;
Robot lore, Kuratas
Mechs are comin', Lord, Kuratas;
Mechs are comin', Lord, Kuratas;
Mechs are comin', Lord, Kuratas;
Armor scores, Kuratas
Hydraulic swingin', Lord, Kuratas;
Hydraulic swingin', Lord, Kuratas;
Hydraulic swingin', Lord, Kuratas;
Japanese Kuratas
Kuratas, abhorred, Kuratas;
Kuratas, abhorred, Kuratas;
Kuratas, abhorred, Kuratas;
Future war, Kuratas
Walking robot...
The US made its own Mech which uses tracks instead of wheels. Not so good of a design aesthetically. Pilot in a glass house. More slab sided.

For those interested: the US has challenged Japan to a Mech fight in June 2016. Megabot vs Kuratas!

Am a little disappointed that this got 2x 1s. Yes, it took about 2 minutes to write using word subs, but the title swap is good and the topic is interesting IMHO. The Lord parts were a small problem. Couldn't think of a decent rhyme that would fit. I wanted to find some good subs and translate them into Japanese for insertion, but that might have caused some confusion. Thanks again for those who appreciated the topic. The Japanese Self-Defence forces have actually looked into their nation's anime for ideas as the Japanese people are fascinated by Mecha. Someone built the Akira motorcycle too which costed $70,000!!! Battle robots might indeed be coming soon. Even as just heavy Army load-lifters!

My bad, military robots used for years. US Armed Forces use Big Dog carrier and tracked armed robots to scout hostile territory. Europe uses robotic load lifters. Germans have robot Panzerfaust area denial with 4x projectiles, a robot Wiesel minitank with 30mm recoilless gun, and nefarious creeper robots that fit into anything to search for weapons and terrorists. German Customs ZOLL uses robot sniffers as well as robot car inspection! Russia working on a powered Mech suit as well for their Wolf Soldiers which are beyond Spetsnaz. Israel uses tracked armed robots with cornershot guns and a rod penetrator cannon! The future us already here!
