The Lyrics
My title refers to his voting record. I wrote a similar ode for his 48th last year. I hope to write only two more. The meter is the usual 6/6/7/6 except in the last stanza, where I substituted for "Mister President" from TOS sung to JFK by MM.

Five new seats in our Congress
From state Puerto Rico. [1]
Just how old is he now?
Forty-nine; 'twill exceed
The new number of states when
Three on border secede. [2]
Can he pass cap-and-trade?

OMR: As a fan of The Capitol Steps and Mark Russell (where is he now?), I'm flattered by your comparisons. I try to be humorous and warn of dangerous plans and policies at the same time. Obama never pauses. You are one of the "others" in footnote 5.
Sir, I prefer ~MM's~ song, "Two Girls From Little Rock", a very cute song! Not many folks are aware that ~MM~ had a fairly good singing voice . . .
